-
DUI
If you have been arrested for driving under the influence, it can stay on your record permanently and harm your reputation. To increase your chances of beating a DUI charge, you need an attorney who understands the requirements of the police officer, field sobriety tests, blood and breath tests, and the legality of the stop and search.
-
Drug Crimes
Possession or intent to sell drugs can result in different punishments based on the charges and the defense strategy. Choose an attorney who is experienced in challenging searches, seizures, and search warrants to find the best possible defense strategy. The ultimate goal is to achieve a dismissal and expungement when feasible.
-
Weapons Charges
Weapons charges now have harsher penalties than ever before. Hiring an attorney can help you avoid jail time. If you are a convicted felon who gets caught with firearms, it is essential to seek legal help immediately to determine how to proceed with your defense and protect your freedom.
-
Domestic Assault
Domestic assault convictions can stay on your record forever and keep you from ever owning a firearm. If a spouse, significant other, or family member has had you arrested, it is important to identify your evidence, locate any witnesses, and establish your defense. Divorce proceedings and orders of protection can quickly become criminal charges as well.
-
Violent Crimes
Your attorney for crimes of violence should have a high level of proficiency in identifying legal defenses such as self-defense and presenting a strong defense narrative through skillful cross-examination of the state's witnesses.
